Harmony in everyday living
“Harmony
in everyday living
Nagomi in Japanese means ‘harmony’ and with it comes the flow of life, a sense of togetherness, adaptation and contentedness. This concept finds expression through the passion, design and wood craftsmanship of our products and services.
Our working ethics
Our working ethics
Have you ever thought it would be too expensive or time-consuming to import Japanese interior design into your home?
Our aim at Nagomi Design is to offer an easy and affordable way to incorporate Japanese design into your Australian home.
Through recent technological developments, traditional Japanese interior design has changed considerably to become more casual and accessible to modern consumers. People tend to think that tatami mats are heavy and difficult to install, or that shoji screens are difficult to handle, break easily and require regular maintenance. Here at Nagomi Design, we have achieved products that avoid those concerns. Nagomi Design’s products are the result of our desire to make Japan more accessible while still maintaining masterful precision and attention to detail.
Our modern products, based on traditional Japanese design and joinery techniques, are perfect additions for the contemporary Australian home, restaurant or any business. Nagomi Design products provide clients with a sense of peace and tranquility that is embodied in Japanese culture, art and design.
